The competition is an internal competition within the bank launched by Science Technology and Innovation (STI) Department in its effort to mainstream the benefit of STI within the IsDBG operations. The competition aims to recognize staff talents and skills, help them in scaling up innovative ideas for the benefit of their organization. It will empower staff to suggest innovative ideas that will transform the working environment of the bank by making it healthy, conducive and collaborative in order to achieve the mission and the vision of the President. The competition is open to all staff of IsDBG entities irrespective of position or type of contract. It is a great opportunity for the staff to voice their ideas that can shape the destiny of IsDB.
The IsDB internal competition is intended to recognize, encourage, inspire & reward innovative ideas, originating from IsDB staff members, that are expected to contribute to improving the work environment in terms of
- Enhanced productivity - through improving the workplace conditions, skills of the workforce and providing employees with the right tools and equipment that will allow them to perform their duties efficiently and on time.
- Improved efficiency, through innovative high-quality, modern programmes, systems and equipment that will allow employees to get more quality work done in a shorter period of time as well as reduce the amount of time spent on unnecessary tasks.
- Increased job satisfaction: maximizing the Bank’s value proposition to its Member Countries (MCs) by empowering the staff to quickly distill the variables affecting risk and reward so they can make better and more business decisions and hence address timely our MCs needs.
The competition shall be open to all the members including staffs, consultants, contractors that are associated with IsDB Group. It would be a opportunity for the recognition of the best talents and their great ideas that would improve our work environment. The idea could relate to any areas of improvement in the organization.
