Jeddah 5/11/2023: The Islamic Development Bank Group today issued the following statement:  

The Islamic Development Bank Group expresses its profound sadness for the tragic loss of life and the widespread destruction and displacements in Gaza, Palestine. 

The IsDB Group extends its heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to all affected by the ongoing tragic events in Gaza. We stand in solidarity with the families and communities who have lost loved ones, and our thoughts are with all who suffer during this difficult time.  

In coordination with its partners, the IsDB Group will contribute to humanitarian assistance as we work towards sustainable long-term recovery. Additionally, IsDB Group staff are contributing through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center to help those in dire need.  

We fervently hope for a prompt restoration of peace and security.
