The services would include “Consultancy Services for the Supervision of Construction of AlGadaref Water Supply Project comprising the support during preconstruction stage for the contractors’ prequalification process up to the contract award, in addition to the on-site construction supervision during construction period, supervising the works including defect liability period and acting as the Engineer under the Contract during implementation period of 48months. The project components are; Water Intake & treatment Plant at the raw water source with capacity of 75,000 cubic meters per day, Water Transmission Pipeline (about 60 Km of DI pipe of dia 1000 mm), Distribution Reservoirs & ring loop and a Booster Station AlGadaref Project implementation Unit (PIU), now, invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the subject services. Interested consultants/consultancy firms must provide information and documents indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar projects with evidences of successful completion of similar projects, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Experience in the field of Supervision of Water Treatment Plants and Transmission Pipelines Construction Projects will be a minimum requirement for the assignment. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications in which case they need to submit documentary evidence which clearly indicates the type of association (a Joint-Venture or sub consultancies) and, in the case of a joint-venture association, that the JV partners are jointly and severally liable for the assignments.. The Client, within the interested national or international consultant firms, in accordance with their qualifications and experience, will form one shortlist group.
