This invitation for prequalification follows the general procurement notice for this project that appeared in ASHARQ AL-AWSAT No. 14069 of 5 June 2017.

The Republic of Uzbekistan has received a financing from the Islamic Development Bank (ISDB) toward the cost of the “Reconstruction and Expansion of the Sewerage Systems of Gulistan, Shirin and Yangiyer Cities of Syrdarya Region”, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the Package No. SSIP/IFP/W-1.2. The SUE “Suvoqava” of Syrdarya Region intends to prequalify contractors and/or firms for

Package No. SSIP/ICB/MC/W-1.2

• Lot 1. Construction of sewage disposal networks in Gulistan city – Part 1 (Contract № SSIP/ICB/MC/W-1.2-1)
• Lot 2. Construction of sewage disposal networks and new pumping stations in Gulistan city – Part 2 (Contract № SSIP/ICB/MC/W-1.2-2)
• Lot 3. Construction and reconstruction of sewage disposal networks including the construction of new Pumping stations in Gulistan city – Part 3 (Contract № SSIP/ICB/MC/W-1.2-3)
• Lot 4. Construction and reconstruction of sewage disposal networks in Gulistan city – Part 4 (Contract № SSIP/ICB/MC/W-1.2-4)

Prequalification will be conducted through prequalification procedures specified in the Islamic Development Bank’s Guidelines for Procurement of Goods and Works, May 2009  and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries, as defined in the guidelines.

Interested eligible Applicants may obtain further information from and inspect the prequalification document at the Project Management Unit of the Arab Coordination Group financed projects under Agency “Kommunkhizmat” (address below) from 09:00 to 17:00 during working days. A complete set of the prequalification document in English and Russian Languages may be purchased by interested Applicants on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of USD 200 or equivalent in Uzbek soums at the rate of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan per Lot on the date of payment. The method of payment will be direct deposit to specified account below.
