REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (CONSULTANT SERVICES) REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN "Reconstruction and expansion of the sewerage systems of Gulistan, Shirin and Yangiyer cities of Syrdarya region" Water supply and sanitation sector CONSULTING SERVICES Mode of Financing: Istisna’a Financing No. UZB-0078 The Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank toward the cost of the “Reconstruction and expansion of the sewerage systems of Gulistan, Shirin, and Yangiyer cities of Syrdarya Region”, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consultant services. This includes consultancy services for preparation of detailed design, bidding documents and supervision of construction works and total duration is 52 months. Please refer to the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared in IsDB Website, dated April 12, 2017. Arab Coordination Group Project Management Unit of Agency “Кommunkhizmat” now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must provide specific information which demonstrates that they are fully qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Experience in the following area or tasks will be the minimum requirement for the assignment: • Preparation of the Detailed Engineering Design for water and wastewater sector projects • Preparation of Bidding Documents and assistance in procurement for similar projects • Supervision of Construction Works in similar projects Consultants from IDB member countries may express interests in the forms of association, validated by an agreement among members of the association which clearly specifies the type of association, i.e. a joint-venture, intermediate forms of association, or sub consultancy. A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Guidelines for the Use of Consultants under Islamic Development Bank Financing (current edition) using of Quality and Cost Based selection (QCBS) method.
