MINISTRY OF FINANCE AND TREASURY Male’, Republic of Maldives, No: (IUL) 13-K/13/2014/133 TEB No: TEB/2013/93 REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST Subjects: Design and Works Supervision of Provision of Sewerage Facilities in 05 (Five) Islands, Maldives 1. The Government of the Republic of Maldives has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank (ISDB), and intends to apply part of the proceeds for the following services: Design and Works Supervision of Provision of Sewerage Facilities in 05 (Five) Islands, Maldives. 2. The Services include Preparation of Preliminary and Detailed Design, Tender Documents, Evaluation, Contract Negotiation, Preparation of Contract Agreement, Contract Management and Supervision Works of Provision of Sewerage Facilities in K. Himmafushi, Hdh. Nolhivaranfaru, Lh. Naifaru, K. Thulusdhoo and Th. Veymandhoo, for the implementation period of 48 months. 3. The Ministry of Finance and Treasury now invites eligible consultants from IDB member countries to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested parties must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignment, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Parties may associate to enhance their qualifications. 4. A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the “Guidelines for the Use of Consultants under Islamic Development Bank Financing, May 2009” 5. The Employer will prepare a short list to be pre-selected on the basis of the expression of interest received to whom, the Request for Proposals (RFP) will be send to perform the services. 6.
