SPECIFIC INVITATION TO BID RETENDERING TURKMENISTAN Project of Construction of Bereket – Etrek –Turkmenistan/Iran Border Railway Project Description : Turnkey Completion of the Remaining Design and Construction Works of Locomotive Depot at Bereket Station Loan No : IDB Financing (Istisna’a) No.: TUR-0016&0017 Project ID No. : 2TUR0016 and 0017 Contract/Bid No. : TKM/ICB/02 The Government of Turkmenistan has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank toward the cost of the Project of Construction of Bereket – Etrek –Turkmenistan/Iran Border Railway, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Completing the Designing and Construction on a Turn-key Basis of Main Locomotive Depot at the Bereket Station, Commenced Earlier. The Ministry of Railway Transport of the Republic of Turkmenistan now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Contract number TKM/ICB/02. Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding (ICB) procedures as specified in “the Guidelines for Procurement of Goods and Works under Islamic Development Bank Financing” (current edition), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents from the Ministry of Railway Transport of the Republic of Turkmenistan at the address below during office hours 09:00 to 17:00 hours (Turkmenistan time) or by sending a request by e-mail to: tde@online.tm. A complete set of bidding documents in English can be purchased by interested bidders upon submission of a written application to the address below for payment of a nonrefundable fee of 575 US $. Payment methods: a cash payment at the cashier’s office of the Ministry of Railway Transport of Turkmenistan at the address specified below or by bank transfer to the bank account of the Ministry of Railway Transport specified below. The bidders paying the fee by a bank transfer should email the scanned copy of bank transfer slip to the Ministry of Railway Transport of Turkmenistan to: marketingrailway@online.tm. A complete set of bidding documents in English will be released to the bidder (or his authorized representative) directly or by email as soon as the deposited fee has been credited to the bank account of the Ministry of Railway Transport of Turkmenistan.
