  1. The Ministry of Health through the government of Sierra-Leone has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) toward the cost of the Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health Strengthening Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Procurement of Medical equipment for Three District Hospitals in Moyamba, Karene & Pujehun.
  2. The Ministry of Health through the Integrated Health Projects Administration Unit (IHPAU) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for:

  1. Margin of preference and COI rules are not applicable

 

  1. Bidding will be conducted through International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures as specified in IsDB's guidelines for the Procurement of Goods, Works and related services April 2019 and revised February 2023 (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to 1.9.1-1.9.4 paragraphs of the Procurement Policy  of the Procurement Guidelines setting forth IsDB’s policy on conflict of interest.

 

 

  1. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Integrated Health Projects Administration Unit (IHPAU) at the address, name and email given below and inspect the bidding documents during office hours 0900 to 1700 hours from Tuesday to Thursday at the address given below.

 

  1. Interested eligible bidders may purchase a complete set of bidding documents in English upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Two Thousand five hundred New Leones (NLE 2,500). The method of payment will be direct deposit into the following Bank account.

  1. The document will be sent electronically upon receipt of payment slip.

 

  1. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 12:00 PM Tuesday 9 December 2025. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below at 12:05 PM Tuesday 9 December 2025

 

  1. All bids must be accompanied by:
    • Valid Business Registration certificate
    • Valid Tax Clearance
    • Valid NASSIT Clearance
    • Bid Security of Twenty Thousand United States dollars (US$ 20,000) per Lot.
