Invitation for Prequalification of Contractors for Design & Build and Operate of Qom Wastewater Treatment Plant-2nd module The Qom Water and Wastewater Company has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank toward the cost of Qom Wastewater Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract for the construction of the Qom Wastewater Treatment Plant. The Qom Water and Wastewater Company intend to prequalify contractors for the:  Design, Manufacture, Supply, Erection and Operate of Wastewater Treatment Plant, including Design and Construction of Allied Civil Works and Appurtenance Buildings for Qom Wastewater Treatment Plant. Prequalification will be conducted through prequalification procedures specified in the Islamic Development Bank Guidelines for Procurement under IDB Financing (November 2006), which can also be found at the IDB website: www.isdb.org, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries, as defined in the guidelines. The local bidders shall have a grade one in facilities-Equipment and grade of one in construction and water discipline with the adequate experience in Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants according to the grade classification of President Deputy for Strategic Planning and Control of Iran. Interested eligible applicants may obtain further information and inspect the prequalification documents at Iranab Consulting Engineering Company, Contracts Office from 24th February 2010 to 10th of April 2010 from 08.00 a.m to 15.00 p.m. A complete set of the prequalification document in English may be purchased by interested applicants on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of non-refundable fee of 600,000 Iranian Rial or USD 60. The documents will be sent by courier for overseas delivery and personal delivery for local applicants.
