The Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (BREB), has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) toward the cost of the Bangladesh Rural Electrification Expansion Barisal Division Program-1 and it intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the procurement of materials and equipments under IsDB International Competitive Bidding. BAR-4.1 and (b) For lot no. BAR-4.1: Pole, SPC the location of delivery shall be as per schedule of requirement. 2) Delivery period: within 20 (twenty) weeks from the issuance of QAR. Margin Preference: 15% Preference for the IDB member countries’ manufacturer The delivery/construction period is effective from the date of issuance of QAR from IDB. Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding procedures as specified in the IsDB’s Guidelines for Procurement of Goods and Works under Islamic Development Bank Financing (current edition) and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents from the Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board at the address below during office hours [office hours: 0900 to 1700 hours]. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of BDT 4000.00 or US$ 50.00 in the form of pay order / Bank draft in favor of Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board. The method of payment will be Irrevocable letter of credit (L/C). The document will be sent either by air mail or by courier or can be collected directly from the address below. Air mail /courier cost has to be paid by the bidder in the form of Pay order / Bank draft in favor of Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board at the time of submission of written application for Bidding Document. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security as BDT or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency mentioned in the table above and be delivered to the address below by 12.00 Noon (BST) on date 22-03-2015 and All bid(s) will be opened at 12:30 Noon (BST), in the presence of bidders’ representatives, who choose to attend, at the address below.
