REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (CONSULTANT SERVICES) [BANGLADESH] [CONSTRUCTION OF BHOLA 225 MW COMBINED CYCLE POWER PLANT] [POWER SECTOR] CONSULTING SERVICES ID Loan No. BD-0162 Project Code No.:9736 The Government of People's Republic of Bangladesh has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank toward the cost of the Construction of Bhola 225 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant (please refer to the Specific Procurement Notice for this project that appeared in The Daily Star, dated 15-08-2011) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consultant services. The services include Audit of Project’s Financial Statement and preparation of its Report. The Bangladesh Power Development Board now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants who has experience of auditing specifically preparation of audit report for at least one project funded by Multi-Development Banks or any international organizations must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications and clearly specify the type of association (a joint-venture or sub consultancies) A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Guidelines for the Use of Consultants under Islamic Development Bank Financing (current edition).
