This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in Development Business, issue no 04 July 2012. 2. The Ministry of Agriculture, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received a loan from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) toward the cost of Enhancing Quality Seed Supply Project (EQSSP), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the Contract for Procurement of Pesticide Chemical, ICB No: EQSSP_GD5.chemical.ICB/2-2013 3. The Enhancing Quality Seed Supply Project (EQSSP), Project Management Unit (PMU) acting on behalf of (i) Seed wing, (ii) Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC), (iii) Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI), (iv) Bangladesh Rice Research Institute (BRRI),Ministry of Agriculture now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for Sl. The method of payment will be Demand Draft or Pay Order in favour of “Project Director, Enhancing Quality Seed Supply Project” The Bidding Documents can be either: (a) picked up by the Bidder or its representative from the Employer’s office, or (b) sent by the Employer to the Bidder by mail, and for this purpose, the Bidder is to pay the cost of the mail.
