REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST Republic of Azerbaijan Support to the National Water Supply & Sanitation Program in six (6) regions CONSULTING SERVICES Istisna’a AZE0040 The Republic of Azerbaijan has received an Istisna’a financing from the Islamic Development Bank to finance the Support to the National Water Supply & Sanitation Program in six (6) regions and intends to use part of the proceeds of this Istisna’a financing for payment under the contract for consultancy services. The Consultancy Services include: 1. Review and Approval of Detailed Engineering Design for six regions. 2. Preparation of Bidding Documents. 3. Support to the PIU for Procurement Issues and Administration of the Project. 4. Supervision of the Construction Works in six regions (Astara, Dashkasen, Gadabey, Gazakh, Samukh and Tartar). AzerSu, the Executing Agency, now invites eligible consultants from IDB member countries to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested engineering firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, general qualifications, number of key staff, etc…). Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications and expertise. A consultant from the IDB member countries will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Guidelines for the Use of Consultants under Islamic Development Bank Financing, May 2009.
