SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT NOTICE Kyrgyz Republic “Improvement of Electricity Supply in Bishkek and Osh Cities” project Energy sector Mode of Financing: Loan Loan No. KYR No.0033 Contract/Bid KYR № 2-0033; The Government of Kyrgyz Republic has received financing from Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) toward the cost of the “Improvement Electricity supply in Bishkek and Osh cities” project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for goods, works, related services and consulting services to be procured under this contract Construction of 220 kV TL – 20 km (branch line from existing of 220 kV TL “Frunzenskaya” – “Bystrovka” Line to “Ala-Archa” substation); Feeder of 220 kV on “Ala-Archa” substation. The JSC “National Electrical Grid of the Kyrgyzstan” now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for (LOT-2 “turnkey Contract”) Construction of 220 kV TL – 20 km and Line Feeder of 220 kV on “Ala-Archa” substation. The construction period is 2 years. Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding procedures as specified in the IsDB’s Guidelines for Procurement of Goods and Works under Islamic Development Bank Financing (current edition), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines.
