Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic “Taraz-Talas-Suusamyr Road Rehabilitation Project” Phase II, Islamic Development Bank Loan No.KYR-0025 Invitation to Prequalification 1. The Government of the Kyrgyz Republic has received a loan from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) for execution of civil works under the “Taraz-Talas-Suusamyr Road Rehabilitation” Project, Phase II and intends to apply the funds for payment under this contract. 2. The Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic, as the Employer, invites the eligible contractors from IDB member countries to prequalification for rehabilitation of a section of the existing road of 21 km length. The rehabilitation of the section includes the following types of work: - excavation works; - drainage works; - pavement works; - road furniture. 3. Prequalification will be carried out in accordance with the IDB’s Guidelines. 4. Bidders may buy the complete set of documents for prequalification in the English language after the application is submitted in writing to the above address and payment of nonreimbursable fee in the amount of USD 200 is made. The method of payment will be either by cash or by bank transfer to a nominated by the Ministry bank account (detail to be provided at time of payment). Documents can be delivered via international courier service and at his expense if requested by Applicant. MOTC is not responsible under any circumstances for the loss or late delivery of documents dent by mail or courier services. 6. Prequalifications should be submitted in sealed envelops to the aforesaid address not later than 12:00 a.m. of local time. The documents received after the indicated date shall not be considered and will be returned unopened. 7. The Employer will notify all applicants in writing of the names of those applicants who have been prequalified.
