General Procurement Notice(GPN) Name of the Country: Bangladesh The Government of the Peoples of the Peoples’ Republic of Bangladesh has received a credit from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) in the amount US$3.010 million equivalent towards the cost for the Project namely –“Establishment of National Fistula Center and SBA Training Institute” and intends to apply part of the proceeds towards payments for the procurements of equipments/goods , and related services, for National Fistula Center (NFC)under this Project. Procurement of Goods/Equipments will be conducted following the procedures as specified in the Islamic Development Bank’s Guidelines for procurement of Goods through International Competitive Bidding(ICB) Specific Procurement Notice (SPN) for the procurement of Goods/Equipments for National Fistula Center (NFC) in Dhaka, will be announced as they become available, in widely circulated National Dailies and through the Bangladesh Embassies /High Commissions in the Member Countries. Subject and Scope of Procurement: Supply, installation and commissioning of necessary Equipments/Goods for the establishment of National Fistula Center (NFC) on the existing roof of the one of section of Dhaka Medical College Hospital in Bangladesh. All instruments under this procurement should be of FDA or equivalent standard and apply to all categories of Instruments. Supplier/Bidder must ensure smooth functioning of equipments during defect liability period taking into considerations of all local parameters and also shall assure necessary after sales services for the remaining designed functional life of the equipment.
