The Kashan Water and Wastewater Company has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank toward the cost of Kashan Wastewater Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract for the construction of the Kashan Wastewater Treatment Plant. The Kashan Water and Wastewater Company intends to prequalify contractors for the:  Design, Manufacture, Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning of Wastewater Treatment Plant, including Equipments, Design and Construction of Allied Civil Works and Appurtenance Buildings for Kashan Wastewater Treatment Plant. The infrastructure will be built on a plot of land called Eghbalieh Plain at an approximate distance of 5 km from the city of Kashan in the Province of Esfahan – Islamic Republic of Iran and to the west of the Kashan – Nooshabad Road. Prequalification will be conducted through prequalification procedures specified in the Islamic Development Bank Guidelines for Procurement under IDB Financing (November 2006), which can also be found at the IDB website: www.isdb.org, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries, as defined in the guidelines. The local bidders shall have a grade one in facilities- Equipment and grade of one in construction or water discipline with the adequate experience in Wastewater Treatment Plants according to the grade classification of President Deputy for Strategic Planning and Control of Iran. Interested eligible applicants may obtain further information and inspect the prequalification documents at the following address from 25th February 2010 to 10th of April 2010 from 08.00 a.m to 14.00 p.m. A complete set of the prequalification document in English may be purchased by interested applicants on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of non-refundable fee of IRR 600,000 or US$ 60. The method of payment will be direct deposit to Account No. SIBA-0105063050005 , MELI Bank, for payments in Rials and for foreign currency payments, Account No. 15015, MELI Bank, Kashan Branch. The documents will be sent by courier for overseas delivery and personal delivery for local applicants. The completed prequalification documents should be submitted in sealed envelopes, delivered to the Kashan Water and Wastewater Company (address below) by 10th of April 2010 at 10:00 a.m. and be clearly marked "Application for Prequalification for Construction of Kashan Wastewater Treatment Plant Project".
