1. The Republic of Albania has received a loan from the Islamic Development Bank toward the cost of construction of Durres Fishing Port Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the Contract for Construction of Durres Fishing Port, ref number: (ICB/MC No.01). 2. The Project Management Unit (PMU) for the construction of Durres Fishing Port Project, now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the construction and completion of port facilities consisting of site access road, breakwaters, quays, land reclamation and on shore works including port buildings and utilities. 3. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the Guidelines for Procurement of Goods and Works under Islamic Development Bank Financing, November 2006, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Member Countries (IDB/Member Countries) as defined in the Guidelines. 4. The bidding documents will be sent via airmail for overseas delivery and surface mail or courier for local delivery. 7.
