The Republic of Azerbaijan has received financing in the amount of US$ 200.05 million under Istisna’a financing from the Islamic Development Bank toward the cost of the Support to the National Water Supply & Sanitation Program in six (6) regions, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for goods, works, related services and consulting services to be procured under this project. The project will include the following components: 1. Procurement of Civil Works: 1.1. Dashkasen Civil Work Package (water network, sewerage systems, water treatment plant, wastewater extended aeration activated sludge treatment plant); 1.2. Wastewater Extended Aeration Activated Sludge Treatment Plants Work Package (in 5 regions); 1.3. Gadabey Civil Work Package (various water networks, sewerage systems, water treatment plant); 1.4. Gazakh Civil Work Package (various water networks, sewerage systems, water treatment plant); 1.5. Samukh Civil Work Package (various water networks, sewerage systems, water treatment plant); 1.6. Tartar Civil Work Package (various water networks, sewerage systems, water treatment plant). 2. Selection of Consultant – the selection process has already been completed Procurement of packages 1.1 and 1.2 will be conducted through International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures as specified in the Guidelines for Procurement of Goods and Works Under Islamic Development Bank Financing (May 2009 edition), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines. Procurement of packages 1.3 and 1.6 will be conducted through International Competitive Bidding Limited to IDB Member Country firms (ICB/MC) procedures as specified in the Guidelines for Procurement of Goods and Works Under Islamic Development Bank Financing (May 2009 edition), and is open to all eligible bidders from the IDB member countries as defined in the guidelines.
