Microfinance to Rural Communities Project In Kazakhstan: Training Services
The “Fund for Financial Support of Agriculture” JSC (hereinafter reffered to as the “FFSA”) has received a grant from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this grant to payments under the contract for training services. The services include the following tasks: 1. Working out of a training course program on Islamic microfinance for the FFSA staff. 2. Working out of and conducting tests and other evaluation activities for assessment of trainees’ progression in studies and learning outcomes. 3. Holding of live trainings to the selected groups of the FFSA staff in the premises provided by the FFSA, including 4 subgroups in different selected regions of the country and 1 subgroup in central office in Astana. 4. Preparing of both paper and electronic learning materials for live trainings (PowerPoint presentations, paper handouts, brochures, CD’s, etc.). 5. Working out and designing of special training aids/manuals on Islamic microfinance at the end of the training period, in which all the knowledge on Islamic microfinance gained by the participants during the training period will be summarised and presented in an accurate due manner. 6. Providing of distance online consultation support to the graduates of the training course within 1.5 month after the training completion date on any questions and themes related to Islamic microfinance. 7. Preparing of a final report addressed to the FFSA which should reflect the training program outcomes and recommendations for further improvement for the FFSA staff. The FFSA now invites eligible training providers to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested training providers must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, general qualifications and number of key staff and so forth). Training providers may associate to enhance their qualifications. Training providers will be selected from a shortlist of international training providers/firms limited to IDB member countries in accordance with the procedures set out in the Guideline for procurement of goods and works under Islamic Development Bank Financing, May 2009.
