The selected consultants will be included in the roaster of consultants available with the Agriculture and Rural Development Department (ARD) and will be engaged as required to undertake assignments of the AGR Department. Specifically, the services of following specialists will be required during 2013 to assist in undertaking project preparation and supervision: 1) Financial Management Specialist 2) Financial Analyst 3) Procurement Experts 4) Industrial Engineers 5) Monitoring and Evaluation Experts 6) Commodity/ Value Chain Experts for rice, wheat, sugar cane and Cotton 7) Smallholder Farmers Agribusiness Specialists Further, IDB seeks the services of specialists (named in brackets) on immediate basis (work to be conducted in January, 2013) to assist in the preparation of project supervision and implementation report and preparation of the project for the following projects in the Republic of Sudan : 1) White Nile Sugar Company, Phase 1 (Sugar Industry Specialist/ Financial Management Expert) 2) Sudan Cotton Company Limited, Phase 2 (Cotton Industry Specialist/ Financial Management Expert) 3) Wheat Production Project in Khartoum (Wheat Commodity Expert) The consultants shall be selected based on their qualification, general experience in the area of expertise, and experience on working with multilateral development bank projects. The Terms of Reference of engagement will be determined based on individual assignment for which the consultants are engaged.
