The Government of Mozambique has received a loan from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) toward the cost of Lower Secondary Education Development Project (LOSEP), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to eligible payments under the Contract for Supply of Braille Machine and Accessories for Mecufi, Pemba-Metuge, Chiulugo (Lichinga), Alto Molócuè and Milange. 2. MINED/DIPLAC-Direcção de Planificação e Cooperação - Construções e Equipamentos Escolares, now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Supply of the following Braille Machines and Accessories: • 60 Braille Machine; • 50 Braille Paper Boxes and; • 50 Staves and Punctures. 3. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the Islamic Development Bank´s Guidelines. 4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below, from 8:00AM to 3.30 PM during working days. 5. A complete set of Bidding Documents, in English, may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee of $50,00 or the equivalent amount in any currency. The payment should be in cash or direct payment at Millennium BIM (account nrs.: 20092969 USD or 20092872 MZN). 6. The deadline for submission of bid proposals is 10:00 AM, local time, on August 10, 2012. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives, who choose to attend in person at the address below at 10:20 AM on August 10, 2012. All bids must be valid for a period of 90 (Ninety) days after Bid opening and accompanied by a Bid Security of: US$1.000, 00 with 120 days of validity. 7.
