Energy Sector Mode of Financing: Installment Sale Project No. UZB-0068 The “TOSHSHAKHARNUR” State Unitary Company has received for financing in the amount of USD 36,000,000.00 equivalent from the Islamic Development Bank toward the cost of “The Efficient Outdoor Lighting for Tashkent City Project” Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for goods, works, related services and consulting services to be procured under this project. The project will include the following components: 1. Supply of the Equipment. Lighting Fixtures and Control Cabinets required for implementing energy efficient technologies in City Outdoor Lighting System. Prequalification of bidders. Bid under ICB procedure. 2. Project Consultancy Services. Bid under ICB-MC procedure. 3. Project Financial Audit Services. Financial audit services will be procured from a short list of reputed local firms in conformity with IDB procedures. Procurement of contracts financed by the Islamic Development Bank will be conducted through the procedures as specified in the Guidelines for Procurement of Goods and Works under Islamic Development Bank Financing (current edition), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines. Consulting services will be selected in accordance with the Guidelines for the Use of Consultants under Islamic Development Bank Financing (current edition). Specific procurement notices for contracts to be bid under the Islamic Development Bank’s international competitive bidding (ICB) or international competitive bidding – member countries (ICB/MC) procedures and for contracts for consultancy services will be announced, as they become available, in IsDB Website, international and local newspapers. Prequalification of suppliers and contractors will be required for the Supply of the equipment required for implementing energy efficient technologies in outdoor lighting system of Tashkent city.
