The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) intends to recruit a reputed, international consulting firm who will work with the IDB to undertake research (including field visits), photography, writing, layout and design, graphics, printing and delivery of thirteen (13) Success Story Series publications. Previous publications in the Series can be found on the IDB website at the following link: http://www.isdb.org/irj/portal/anonymous?NavigationTarget=navurl://96e04e455535cb530b72024cc1ce041b Out of the 13 Success Stories to be developed, 10 are based on individual projects, while the remaining 3 are based on a Country-Sector, Country-Theme and Regional Connectivity case, respectively. The 10 project-based Success Stories will be published each as a succinct, 4-8 page publication, and each of the other 3 cases, as a 10-12 page publication. The Success Stories include projects implemented in 17 countries: Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, Chad, Iran, Kazakhstan, Maldives, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Niger, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Togo and Tunisia, in the sectors of Agriculture, Education, Health, Information & Communications Technology (ICT), Transport, and Water. The IDB invites eligible consulting firms to indicate their interest in providing the services for this assignment. Firms should provide specific information which demonstrates that they are fully qualified to perform/provide the services. The Expression of Interest (EOI), does not have a specific format or template, but should include (i) a letter of interest from the firm to participate in the assignment, (ii) profile of the firm (including evidence of the requisite expertise and skills), and (iii) list of similar assignments (i.e. portfolio of relevant work in writing/publishing similar types of publications) with relevant samples of work done within the last 5 years. The duration of the assignment is expected to last no more than three months, depending on the specific assignment. The Consultant will be selected in accordance with the rules and procedures of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB).
