SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT NOTICE Invitation for Pre-qualification (IFP) (First/Second Announcement) Islamic Republic of Iran Khomrood Coal Mine (KCM) Project EPC works for Khomrood Coal Mine Project Loan No./Credit No./TF No./Grant No. Project ID No.IRN-0082 Contract/Bid No. Iran Minerals Production & Supply Co. (IMPASCO) has received financing from Islamic Development Bank (IDB) towards the cost of the Khomrood Coal Mine Project, and it intends to apply the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Engineering, Procurement and Construction of two Coking Coal Mines. It is expected that invitations for bid will be made in July 2013. Prequalification will be conducted through prequalification procedures specified in the Islamic Development Bank’s Guidelines for Procurement of Goods and Works, May 2009 and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries, as defined in the guidelines. Interested eligible Applicants may obtain further information from and inspect the prequalification document at IMPASCO at the address below during office hours 09:00 to 14:00 (local time) from 27 April 2013 to 8 May 2013. A complete set of the prequalification document in English may be received by interested Applicants (a) on the submission of a written application to the address below and b) pre-qualification documents is free of charge but the qualified bidders, to receive Bidding Documents, have to pay 10,000,000 Rials to be deposited to the account number below. The method of payment will be depositing of aforementioned nonrefundable fee to IMPASCO Bank’s account as [Mellat Bank, Valiasr branch, code: 6310.7 , JAM account number: 1740040096]. The document will be sent by courier, e-mail or picked up directly against submission of written application and a copy of payment receipt to address below. Applications for prequalification should be submitted in sealed envelopes, delivered to the address below by 19 June 2013, and be clearly marked “Application to prequalify for EPC works of Khomrood Coal Mine”.
