Project Description: Turnkey Contract for the completion of the Remaining Design and construction works of Locomotive Depot at the Bereket Loan No: IDB Financing (Istisna’a) No.: TUR-0016&0017 Project ID No. 2TUR0016 and 0017 Contract/Bid No. TKM/ICB/02 Turkmenistan has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank toward the cost of the Project of Construction of Bereket – Etrek –Turkmenistan/Iran Border Railway, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Completing the Designing and Construction on a Turn-key Basis of Main Locomotive Depot at the Bereket Station, Commenced Earlier. The Ministry of Railway Transport of Turkmenistan now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for [contract number TKM/ICB/02]. The expected completion date is 31.12.2014” Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding(ICB) procedures as specified in “the Guidelines for Procurement of Goods and Works under Islamic Development Bank Financing” (current edition), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines.
