REPUBLIC OF THE GAMBI ISLAMIC DEVELOPMENT BANK ENHANCING VALUE ADDITION IN THE GROUNDNUT SECTOR PROJECT Expression of Interest for Supply of Aflatoxin Kits, Samplers and other Testing Equipment For the Gambia Groundnut Corporation (GGC) IDB Financing No: GM-0081 1. The Government of the Republic of The Gambia has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) towards the cost of the Enhancing Value Addition in the Groundnut Sector Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under contracts for the procurement of goods and equipment. 2. The Gambian Agency for the Management of Public Works (GAMWORKS), acting on behalf of the Gambia Groundnut Corporation (GGC), is inviting interested bidders to submit an expression of interest to participate in the following Procurement of Goods and Equipment for Quality Testing Systems: Package No. Description of the Goods Contract Identification No. 3 Supply and Delivery of Nine Hundred (900) Aflatoxin Test Kits; Supply, Delivery, Testing, Certification and Commissioning of Ten (10) Electric or Manual Samplers, One (1) Grain and Oilseed Moisture Analysis Computer, One (1) Infra-Composition Analyzer, and One (1) Electric Mini Laboratory Unshelled Groundnut Sizer and Sheller. Bidding will be conducted through the Limited International Bidding (LIB) procedures specified in the Guidelines for Procurement of Goods and Works under IDB Financing, and is open to invited pre-qualified firms from all Eligible Source Countries of the World as defined in the Guidelines. 5. GAMWORKS now invites interested eligible firms to indicate their interest in the Procurement of Goods and Equipment for the Quality Testing Systems. The Expressions of Interest should include the following: a. Certificate of Registration / Incorporation; b. Profile of the Firm; c. List of similar contracts executed in the last five years; d. Any other qualifying information to evaluate the suitability of the firm. 6. The firms may submit their expression for any item specified in the package. Please clearly indicate the item (s) your firm is capable to supply. 7. Written expressions of interest in the Procurement of Goods and Equipment for the Quality Testing Systems must be received at the address given below by 30th December, 2014, after which a short list of eligible and qualified firms will be established.
