Invitation for Pre-qualification Islamic Republic of Iran The New Dr. Shariati Hospital Design and Build of the New Dr. Shariati Hospital IsDB Finance / Project No. IRN-0104 This invitation for prequalification follows the general procurement notice for this project that appeared in Tehran Times newspaper No. 11935 dated March 1, 2014 and Financial Times of London, online leader board No. 4518372 during 19 – 26 February, 2014. The Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) has received Financing from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) toward the cost of the Development of Dr. Shariati Hospital Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract for Design and Build of New Dr. Shariati Hospital, contract No. IsDB-DSH-01. Dr. Shariati Hospital (DSH), as the Executive Agency (EA) for the project, intends to prequalify contractors for Design and Build of Civil & Electromechanical Works for the New Dr. Shariati Hospital, with a gross floor area of app. 110,000 square meters, located adjacent to Kharazi Highway in district 22 of Tehran, Iran. It is expected that invitation for bid will be made in March, 2015. Prequalification will be conducted based on procedures specified in the IsDB Guidelines for Procurement under IsDB Financing (May 2009), which can also be found at the IsDB website: www.isdb.org, and is open to all bidders from eligible member countries (MC), as defined in the guidelines. Interested eligible Applicants may obtain further information from and inspect the prequalification documents at Dr. Shariati Hospital, EA/PMU Office (address below) from 7 am to 1 pm. A complete set of the prequalification document in English may be purchased by interested Applicants on the submission of a written request to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 600,000 Iranian Rials. The method of payment will be direct deposit to “JAM” Account No. 27619004/42, Bank Mellat. All transfers should indicate deposit code number 1037/82 on them. The documents will be sent electronically for overseas Applicants and personal delivery for local Applicants.
