SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT NOTICE REPUBLIC OF AZERBAIJAN INTEGRATED RURAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECT AGRICULTURE CONSTRUCTION WORKS ON REHABILITATION OF IRRIGATION AND DRAINAGE INFRASTRUCTURE Mode of Financing: Ordinary Istisna’a, Istisna’a under Jeddah Declaration Financing No. AZ-034, 035, 036 Contract/Bid No. RIDS-W-1-A This invitation for prequalification follows the general procurement notice for this project that appeared in UN Development Business online as well as in print issue No. 812 (Ref. No. UN606). The Government of Azerbaijan has received a financing from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) toward the cost of the Integrated Rural Development Project (IRDP), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract for contract for Construction Works on Rehabilitation of Irrigation and Drainage Infrastructure. The State Agency on Agricultural Credits under the Ministry of Agriculture intends to prequalify contractors and/or firms for the Construction Works (Ref. No. RIDS-W-1-A) on Rehabilitation of Irrigation and Drainage Infrastructure of Water Users Associations located at Yevlakh district of the Project area. Prequalification will be conducted through prequalification procedures specified in the Islamic Development Bank’s Guidelines for Procurement of Goods and Works, May 2009 and is open to all bidders from eligible IDB member countries, as defined in the guidelines. Interested eligible Applicants may obtain further information from and inspect the prequalification document at the State Agency on Agricultural Credits under the Ministry of Agriculture (address below) from 10:00 to 17:00. A complete set of the prequalification document in English may be obtained by interested Applicants on the submission of a written application to the address below.
