REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (CONSULTANCY SERVICES) Islamic Republic Of Iran Rural Areas Wastewater Project Sector Study for Institutional Assessment and Development Plan of WWCs Mode of Financing: Istisna’a Financing No. IRN 0084 The Islamic Republic of Iran has received financing in the amount of Euro 129.65 million from Islamic Development Bank towards the cost of the Rural Areas Wastewater Project, Islamic Republic of Iran, and intends to apply part of the proceeds to payment for Sector Study for Institutional Assessment and Development Plan of WWCs to be procured under this project. The following is the brief scope of work: - Baseline Sector Assessment; - National Framework for Wastewater Management; and - Best Practices and Implementation Strategies. The National Water and Wastewater Engineering Company (NWWEC) now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the required consulting services. Interested consultants must provide specific information with supporting documents, wherever possible, (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.) which demonstrate the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the services. Consultants may express interest in the form of association, validated by an agreement among members of the association which clearly specifies the type of association, i.e. a joint-venture, intermediate forms of association, or sub consultancy. The consultants will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the “Guidelines for the Use of Consultants under Islamic Development Bank Financing, May 2009”. Interested consultants may submit their expression of interest (EOI) to the following address during office hours from 09.00- 14.00 hours (local time).
