This invitation for bids follows the solicitation notice (GPN) for this project that appeared on the website of Islamic Development Bank on 29.09.2014, Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan on 23.10.2014, and in the newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat on 11.12.2014, issue 13162. 2. The Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan has applied for financing from the IDB toward the cost of “The Support to Development of Oncology Services Project in the Republic of Uzbekistan”, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract for Procurement of medical equipment for oncology centers of the Republic of Uzbekistan (UZB-063/ICB/01). 3.
