REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR DESIGN REVIEW AND SUPERVISION) COUNTRY: Federal Republic of Nigeria NAME OF PROJECT: Ilesa Water Supply and Sanitation SECTOR: Water and Sanitation MODE OF FINANCING: Istisna’a FINANCING NO.: UNI0061 The Government of the State of Osun has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank toward the cost of the Ilesa Water Supply and Sanitation Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for Consultancy Services. The services include design review and supervision for Water Supply Infrastructure including the construction of Water Treatment Plant; transmission mains and booster pump station; concrete circular water tanks; distribution network, house hold connections and provision for sanitation facilities for the period of four (4) years. Please refer to the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared in the following local and international newspapers: The Nigeria Pilot of 15th December, 2015; The Nation of 17th December 2015 and Asharq AlAwsat (AAWSAT) of 7th January 2016. The Osun State Water Corporation, now invites eligible consultancy firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firm(s) must provide specific information which demonstrate that they are fully qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Experience in the following area or tasks shall be the minimum requirement for the assignment: • Review of the detailed engineering design of the project; • Supervision of construction works activities; • Support and assistance to the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) during project implementation Consultancy firm(s) may express interests in the forms of Association, validated by an agreement among members of the Association which clearly specifies the type of Association, i.e. a Joint-Venture, Intermediate Forms of Association, or Sub-Consultancy. A firm will be selected, from a short list of international consultancy firms limited to IDB member countries, in accordance with the procedures set out in the Guidelines for the Use of Consultants under Islamic Development Bank Financing (May 2009 as amended in February, 2012).
