REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR SUPERVISION CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF GIRLS’ CAMPUS, ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY IN NIGER The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) received a donation, through Fael Khair Program, for the construction of the Girls’ Campus of the Islamic University in Niamey, the Capital City of the Republic of Niger. The Government of Niger allocated a 117,324.5 m² piece of land, for this purpose. The total built-up area of the Project is about 64,500 m2 and the construction duration is 900 calendar days. IsDB as the administrator of Fael Khair Program, intends to utilize part of the donation for payments under the contract for the Supervision of the Construction of the Girls’ Campus, Islamic University in Niger (The Project), and hereby is inviting interested international consultancy firms to indicate their interest in providing the subject services. Competent firms should provide information showing their capability to perform the services, supported by brochures, previous similar assignments and appropriate skills…etc. The Assignment includes the overall supervision of all on site activities including, but not limited to validation of tender documents, supervision of works, approval of material, monitoring the QA/QC and safety issues, preparation of progress reports, review of quantities and relevant payment certificates, progress and monitoring, coordination with the local authorities, approval of AS-Built drawings, and operation and maintenance manuals,...etc. in addition to any other needed tasks for the fulfillment of the assignment. All relevant procedures for the invitation, evaluation and selection will be as per specified in the IsDB Guidelines for the use of Consultants under IDB Financing (May 2009), which can be found at the IDB website: www.isdb.org. The shortlisted firms will, then, receive the RfP forms to fill and send the technical and financial offers, in due time (to be determined afterwards) by courier or email.
