GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE Mode of Financing: LOAN/ Istisna’a/ Istisna’a Jeddah Declaration Financing No.GM-0085/86/87 The Government of the Gambia has received financing for the amount of USD$15 million equivalent from the Islamic Development Bank toward the cost of the Building Resilience to Recurring Food Insecurity in the Gambia, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for goods, works, related services and consulting services to be procured under this project. This project will be jointly financed by the International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD) and Government of Gambia. The project will include the following components 1. Building Resilience to Climate Change and Enhanced Food Security 2. Rehabilitation and Preservation of Rural Livelihoods 3. The acquisition of services of consultants will follow the Guidelines for the use of Consultants under the Islamic Development Bank Financing (May 2009, amended February 2012). Specific procurement notices for contracts to be bid under the Islamic Development Bank’s international competitive bidding – member countries (ICB/MC) procedures and for contracts for consultancy services will be announced, as they become available, on IsDB Website, UN Business Development website, DEVEX, Ministry of Agriculture website, international newspapers, and in local newspapers. The local NCB contracts will be published in the local newspapers and websites.
