Rehabilitation New Halfa Agricultural Project BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF GOODS/WORKS: Mode of Financing: Istisna’a Financing No.: SU-170/171 Contract/Bid No.: ICB-003-2016 Supply and Installation of Machinery and Equipment- Earth Moving Machines & Workshop Equipment The Ministry of Finance & National Economic - Republic of Sudan has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) toward the cost of the Rehabilitation of New Halfa Agricultural Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Supply and Installation of Machinery and Equipment- Earth Moving Machines & Workshop Equipment, 75% of this contract is financed by the IDB and 25% by Sudan government. The Eastern Sudan Reconstruction and Development Fund (ESRDF) now invite sealed bids from eligible bidders for Supply and Delivery of Maintenance Machinery & Equipment includes: • Earth Moving Machines (Bulldozers, loaders, Hydraulic Excavators, Cranes, Lorries, Trucks and Tractors, Low Bed Trailer, Motor Grader & Vehicles) The tenderer has to have a specific experience to execute the works in an existing wet condition; without affecting the farming seasonal plans of the scheme. The delivery/construction period is 10 months from the commencement date of the work. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures as specified in the IsDB’s Guidelines for Procurement of Goods and Works under Islamic Development Bank Financing [May 2009, Amended February 2012], and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents from the Eastern Sudan Reconstruction and Development Fund (ESRDF) at the address below during office hours. 09:00 to 16:00 hours.
