Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan “Reconstruction of Canal System’s Khazarbag-Akkapchigay in Surkhandarya Region” Project Package No.1 “Reconstruction of Right Bank Саnаl and Tupolang-Karatagskiy Irrigation Саnаl” Contract No.IWRMISR/ICB-MC/CON/01 The Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank (ISDB) in various currencies toward the cost of “Improvement of Water Resources Management in Surkhandarya Region (Reconstruction of Canal System’s Khazarbag-Akkapchigay)” Project. It is intended to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to eligible payments under the contract for “Reconstruction of Right Bank Саnаl and Tupolang-Karatagskiy Irrigation Саnаl (Package No.1)”. The Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources of Uzbekistan intends to prequalify contractors and/or firms for “Reconstruction of Right Bank Саnаl and Tupolang-Karatagskiy Irrigation Саnаl (Package No.1)”. It is expected that invitations for bid will be made in 10th of December, 2016. To be prequalified for this Contract, prospective applicants shall meet the minimum qualification criteria set in the prequalification document. One of the criteria is that the applicant shall have an experience in at least two similar contracts each of minimum value USD 10,000,000 (US Dollars Ten million) or 1 (one) contract of minimum value USD 20,000,000 (US Dollars Twenty million) all completed between 1st January 2009 and application submission deadline. Prequalification will be conducted through prequalification procedures as specified in the Islamic Development Bank Guidelines for Procurement of Works & Goods under IDB Financing (May 2009 Amended February 2012), which can also be found at the IDB website: www.isdb.org, and is limited to IDB member countries(ICB/MC) as defined in the guidelines.
