SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT NOTICE Invitation for Bids Republic of Uzbekistan Reconstruction of Canal System’s Khazarbag-Akkapchigay in Surkhandarya Region Project № ICB/MC: IWRMISR/ICB-MC/04 Reconstruction of Connection Canal to ShMC and Tangimushsai Bed (Package No 4) This invitation for bids follows the general procurement notice for this project that appeared on IDB website on 03.08.2014. The Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) toward the cost of “Improvement of Water Resources Management in Surkhandarya Region (Reconstruction of Canal System’s Khazarbag-Akkapchigay)” Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract for “Reconstruction of Connection Canal to ShMC and Tangimushsai Bed (Package No 4)”. The Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources of Uzbekistan Republic now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for “Reconstruction of Connection Canal to ShMC and Tangimushsai Bed (Package No-4)”. Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding procedure for IDB member countries with post qualification of lowest evaluated bidder as specified in the Islamic Development Bank Guidelines for Procurement of Works & Goods under IDB Financing (May 2009 Amended Feb 2012), which can also be found at the IDB website: www.isdb.org, and is limited to IDB member countries (ICB/MC) as defined in the guidelines. To be qualified for this Contract, prospective Bidders shall meet the minimum qualification criteria set in the Bidding Document. One of the criteria is that the Bidder shall have an experience in at least two similar contracts each of minimum value USD 6,000,000 (US Dollars Six Million) all completed between 1st January 2009 and bid submission deadline.
