The Government of the Gambia has received loan financing from the Islamic Development Bank toward the cost of the Regional Rice Value Chain Development Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consultant services. The services include Field Studies, Detail Design and Construction/ Rehabilitation Supervision of Tidal, and Pump Irrigation, Access roads, drying floors and district stores. Please refer to the General Procurement Notice for this project that appeared in IsDB online, dated 12th March, 2020 and Local news Papers, Foroyaa and Point News Papers dated 12th March, 2020

 

The Regional Rice Value Chain Development Project of The Ministry of Agriculture now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants who has experience in Detail Design and Construction Supervision of Civil works funded by Multi-National Development Banks or any international organizations must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.).

 

Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications and clearly specify the type of association (a joint-venture or sub consultancies) [as well as the nature of its business (commercial or not-for profit)].

 

A consultant will be selected on Quality and Cost Base Selection (QCBS) in accordance with the procedures set out in the Guidelines for the Use of Consultants under Islamic Development Bank Financing, May 2009, Amended February 2012,
