The Government of the Gambia has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank toward the cost of the Small Ruminant Production Enhancement Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consultant services. The services include Field Studies, Design and Construction Supervision of All civil works component of the Project.  Please refer to the General Procurement Notice for this project that appeared in IsDB online, dated 26 September 2019 and Local news Papers, Foroya and Point News Papers dated 22 October 2019

 

The Small Ruminant Production Enhancement Project of The Ministry of Agriculture now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants who has experience in Design and Construction Supervision of Civil works funded by Multi-Development Banks or any international organizations must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.).

 

Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications and clearly specify the type of association (a joint-venture or sub consultancies) [as well as the nature of its business (commercial or not-for profit)].

 

A consultant will be selected on Quality and Cost Base Selection (QCBS) accordance with the procedures set out in the Guidelines for the Use of Consultants under Islamic Development Bank Financing, May 2009, Amended February 2012.
