GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE

The Islamic Development Bank Institute has approved grant financing for the Islamic Finance Grant for Developing a Digital Awqaf Fund Management Platform project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for consulting services to be procured under this project.

 

The project has two components with the following deliverables:

 

  1. Component 1-Consultancy Services for Financial Accounting and Compliance:
  • Setting up accounting systems: The firm will be responsible for setting up and implementing an accounting system that is compliant with Islamic finance principles, which includes documenting all transactions, ensuring proper record keeping, and providing regular financial reports to the board.
  • Bookkeeping and Financial Reporting: The firm will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing monthly financial statements and reports, and submitting regulatory filings in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Compliance: The firm will ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and accounting standards, as well as Islamic finance principles, by conducting regular internal audits and providing guidance to the board of directors.

 

  1. Component 2- Technology and Software Requirements for a Web and Mobile Application for a Waqf Fund:
  • Development of a user-friendly web and mobile application that allows users to easily make contributions to our fund.
  • Integration of payment gateway and third-party APIs to allow for secure and seamless transactions.
  • Development of an intuitive user interface that allows for easy navigation and usage of the application.
  • Implementation of a secure and scalable architecture to handle the growing user base.
  • Provision of technical support and maintenance services post-launch. 

Procurement of contracts financed by the Islamic Development Bank/Islamic Development Bank Institute will be conducted through the procedures as specified in the Guidelines for Procurement of Goods, Works, and related services under Islamic Development Bank Project Financing (current edition) and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines. Consulting services will be selected in accordance with the Guidelines for the Procurement of Consultant Services under Islamic Development Bank Project Financing (current edition).

 

Specific procurement notices for contracts to be bid under the Islamic Development Bank’s international competitive bidding (ICB) or international competitive bidding – member countries (ICB/MC) procedures and for contracts for consultancy services will be announced, as they become available, on IsDB Website
