Contract Title: Construction of Common Infrastructure and Utilities in Kwara AIH at Malete Kwara State

Contract Bid Number: ICB: KW/SAPZ/CW/CU/2026/02

 

The Federal Government of Nigeria/Kwara State Government has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank toward the cost of the Kwara State Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zone Project (SAPZ) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for: Construction of Common Infrastructure and Utilities in AIH at Malete, Moro Local Government Kwara State.

  1. The Kwara State Government through the Kwara-SAPZ now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Construction of Common Infrastructure and Utilities Kwara AIH at Malete.

 

  1. The Scope of Works includes but not limited to the following:
  1. Construction of External and Internal Road Works
  2. Water Supply Network (Borehole, surface tank, overhead tank)
  3. Power Supply Facility
  4. Wastewater Distribution Network
  5. Sewage and Effluent Treatment Plant
  6. Solid Waste Management
  7. Site Clerance and Earthworks
  8. Surface Water Drainage and Culverts Works
  9. Construction of Truck Parking, and
  10. Provision of Electricity/Solar Street Light

 

  1.  The expected completion period of the Construction is 18 months
  2.  Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures as specified in IsDB’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and related services under Islamic Development Bank Project Financing  (April 2019, revised in February 2023) (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to 1.9.1-1.9.4 paragraphs of the Procurement Policy of the Procurement Guidelines setting forth IsDB’s policy on conflict of interest.

 

  1. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents from Head, Procurement Kwara-SAPZ Unit at the address below during office hours, between the hour of from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (local time) on official working days (Monday-Friday)

 

  1. A complete set of bidding documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Three Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira (N350,000.00) only, with evidence of payments to the bank with Details provided below.

  1. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of not less than N622,000,000.00.  and submitted to the address below on or before 12: 00 Noon. (Local time) on 6th May, 2026 Six (6) weeks from the date of Advert physically or by courier. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Bids will be publicly opened immediately thereafter, in the presence of bidders’ representatives, who choose to attend, at the address below at immediately after the close of bids. Late bids will be rejected and returned unopened.
