This invitation for prequalification follows the general procurement notice for this project that appeared in ASHARQ AL-AWSAT No. 14069 of 5 June 20171.

The Republic of Uzbekistan has received a financing from the Islamic Development Bank (ISDB) toward the cost of the “Reconstruction and Expansion of the Sewerage Systems of Gulistan, Shirin and Yangiyer Cities of Syrdarya Region”, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the Package No. SSIP/IFP/W-1.1. Bidding will be governed by the Islamic Development Bank’s eligibility rules and procedures. The SUE “Suvoqava” of Syrdarya Region intends to prequalify contractors and/or firms for

• Lot 1. Reconstruction and Construction of Wastewater Treatment Plants for Gulistan City (Contract  No. SSIP/ICB/MC/W-1.1-1)
• Lot 2. Reconstruction and Construction of Wastewater Treatment Plants for Yangier City (Contract  No. SSIP/ICB/MC/W-1.1-2)
• Lot 3. Reconstruction and Construction of Wastewater Treatment Plants for Shirin City (Contract  No. SSIP/ICB/MC/W-1.1-3)

Prequalification will be conducted through prequalification procedures specified in the Islamic Development Bank’s Guidelines for Procurement of Goods and Works under IsDB Financing, May 2009 and is open to all bidders IsDB Member Countries, as defined in the guidelines.

Lot 2. Reconstruction and Construction of Wastewater Treatment Plants for Yangier City (Contract  No. SSIP/ICB/MC/W-1.1-2)

Not less than USD 700.000

2 contracts in an aggregate amount of USD 5,000,000 or 1 contract with an amount of USD3,500,000 (for the last 5 years)

Construction and equipment supply and installation of at least one (1) biological wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of at least 10,000 m3/day

Lot 3. Reconstruction and Construction of Wastewater Treatment Plants for Shirin City (Contract  No. SSIP/ICB/MC/W-1.1-3)

Not less than USD 600.000

2 contracts in an aggregate amount of USD 4,000,000 or 1 contract with an amount of USD2,500,000 (for the last 5 years)

Construction and equipment supply and installation of at least one (1) biological wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of at least 3,200 m3/day

 

Interested eligible Applicants may obtain further information from and inspect the prequalification document at the Project Management Unit of the Arab Coordination Group financed projects under Agency “Kommunkhizmat” (address below) from 09:00 to 17:00 during working days. A complete set of the prequalification document in English and Russian Languages may be purchased by interested Applicants on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of USD 200 or equivalent in Uzbek soums at the rate of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the date of payment. The method of payment will be direct deposit to specified account below.
