  1. The People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) toward the cost of the Urban Water Supply and Sanitation in 23 Pourashavas Project (GOB-IDB), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract [1]for  URBAN -GD-3a.
  2. The Executive Engineer, Store Division, Department of Public Health Engineering (DPHE), Segunbagicha, Dhaka-1000, Bangladesh now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Supplying of 20 nos. dump truck, 24 nos. desludging trucks, 108 nos. garbage collectors and 36 nos. sludge collector for the Pourashavas under “Urban Water Supply and Sanitation in 23 Pourashavas Project (GOB-IDB)” (“the goods”). The delivery period will be 6 months from the signing of contract.
  3. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures as specified in IsDB’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and related services under Islamic Development Bank Project Financing  April 2019 Revised in February 2023  (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to 1.9.1-1.9.5 paragraphs of the Procurement Policy of the Procurement Guidelines setting forth IsDB’s policy on conflict of interest.
  4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Office of the Executive Engineer, Store Division, Department of Public Health Engineering (DPHE), Segunbagicha, Dhaka-1000, Bangladesh, Phone: +8801934893550, email: ee.storedhaka@dphe.gov.bd and inspect the bidding documents during office hours  09.00 hrs to 1600 hrs at the Office of the Executive Engineer, Store Division, Department of Public Health Engineering (DPHE), Segunbagicha, Dhaka-1000, Bangladesh.

The method of payment will be cash. The document will be sent by air mail of courier or may be collected through authorized representatives of the bidder.
  1. The last date of selling bidding documents is 14 December 2026 till 16.00 hr. Bids must be delivered to the Office of the Executive Engineer, Store Division, Department of Public Health Engineering (DPHE), Segunbagicha, Dhaka-1000, Bangladesh on or before 12:00 hr on 15 December 2026. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the Office of the Executive Engineer, Store Division, Department of Public Health Engineering (DPHE), Segunbagicha, Dhaka-1000 at 12:00 hr. on 15 December 2026.
  2.  All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of BDT 8,500,000.00 (Eight million Five Hundred Thousand) or USD 68,000.00 (Sixty Eight Thousand) only.
