Contract Title: Construction of 20 Small Ruminant Watering Facilities, Construction of a Model Pastureland at YBK & Animal Production Unit WALIC Keneba, & Construction of 20 Community Pasture Plots

 

 

NCB No. SRPEP/W/05/03/2022

 

1.         The Government of The Gambia has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) toward the cost of the Small Ruminant Production Enhancement Project (SRPEP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the

contract for Construction of 20 Small Ruminant Watering Facilities in various locations of the country and Model Parsture Plot in YBK and Animal Production Unit in WALIC Keneba

 

2.         The Ministry of Agriculture now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Construction of 20 Small Ruminant Watering Facilities, Construction of a Model Pastureland at YBK & Animal Production Unit WALIC Keneba, & Construction of 20 Community Pasture Plots divided into two lots, respectively.

3.         Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures as specified in IsDB’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and related services under Islamic Development Bank Project Financing,  April 2019, of applicable Guidelines edition as per legal agreement] (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.18 -21 setting forth IsDB’s policy on conflict of interest.

 

 

4.         Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Small Ruminant Production Enhancement Project (SRPEP) Mr Mamud Njie, Project Director , email njiemamud@gmail.com or bjkanteh7@gmail.com, and inspect the bidding documents during office hours 08:00 am - 15:00pm GMT at the address given below

 

5.         A complete set of bidding documents in English language may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the project address; Small Ruminant Production Enhancement Project, Visaca Apex Building, Brusubi Institutional Area, Brusubi, Tel: 7921101/3921101/2107728/9829591 and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee[1] of GMD 25,000.00. The method of payment will be cash or Bankers cheque. The document will be sent by email or Hardcopy upon receipt of the fee.

 

6.         Bids must be delivered to the address below, on or before 07 April 2022 at 11:00 GMT. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below.

Lot 1: One Million, Three Hundred Thousand Gambian Dalasi (GMD 1,300,000.00)
