Hiring Individual Consultants to Support Project Preparation and Appraisal for “Joint GPE-ACG SmartED Project for Improving the Quality and Efficiency of the National Education System” in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

 

  1. The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) is hiring individual consultants for conducting needs assessment, project preparation and appraisal of the Joint GPE-ACG SmartED Project for improving the quality and efficiency of the Nation Education in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
  2. The following consultants are required for the assignment. Each interested participant may apply for only one consultancy role:
    1. Program Development Consultant (Lead Consultant)
    2. “Continuous Professional Development Program for Teachers” Consultant
    3. “National Curriculum Assessment and Teaching and Learning Material Development” Consultant
    4. “National Learning Assessment Systems and Competency Based Education Systems” Consultant
    5. “Inclusive Education” Consultant
  3. The Terms of Reference (TOR) of each consultancy position are attached with this IEOI and can also be obtained by emailing arkenzhegulov@isdb.org (cc: mkahagh@isdb.org). IsDB will select and engage the Consultants in accordance with the IsDB Corporate Procurement Policy.
  4. The assignment will commence immediately from 14th April and duration of the engagement is expected to be 9 months, through intermittent engagement based on the project processing timeline.

 

5.         Applicants who wish to submit an EOI with proposal should complete the EOI Form in Annex-II or obtain the template by writing to arkenzhegulov@isdb.org (cc: mkahagh@isdb.org) and submit it to the IsDB by email to the following authorized representatives of IsDB by 13th of April 2023:
