1. The Republic of Uzbekistan has received financing from the Bank toward the cost of the Reconstruction and Expansion of the Sewerage Systems of Gulistan, Shirin and Yangiyer Cities of Syrdarya Region Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts for Machinery and Equipment for Operation and Maintanence.

2. Sirdarya Regional State Unitary Enterprise “Suvoqava” now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of following machinery and equipments for Operatiion and Maintanence:

LOT No. 1:

Emergency and Maintenance Vehicle – 3 pcs,

Sewer jetting truck combined (with pressure pump) volume 8m3 – 3 pcs,

Sewage tank truck and sludge 7m3 – 3 pcs,

Auto crane 25t – 1 pcs,

Auto crane 16t – 1 pcs,

Dump truck 15 t – 2 pcs.

LOT No. 2:

Excavator pneumatic wheel 1m3 – 3 pcs,

Excavator pneumatic wheel 0,25 m3. depth of digging is 3.2 m – 2 pcs.

LOT No. 3:

Tractor with carriage 4t. – 3 pcs

LOT No. 4:

Double cabin VAN – 3 pcs

Mobile submersible sewage pump 40 m3/h. – 6 pcs,

Mobile sewage underwater pump 120/10. – 3 pcs,

Mobile Diesel Generator capacity 16 kW. – 3 pcs,

Tools for repair and maintenance – 3 pcs

3. Bidders may bid for one or several contracts, as further defined in the bidding document.  Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded more than one contract will be allowed to do so, provided those discounts are included in the Letter of Bid.

4. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures as specified in the Bank’s Guidelines for Procurement of Goods and Works under Islamic Development Bank Financing, May 2009 (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.

5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Manager of Project Management Unit of Arab Coordination Group, Mr. Aminov N. and inspect the bidding documents during office hours 0900 to 1700 hours at the address given below.

6. A complete set of bidding documents in English/Russian may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of USD 100 or equivalent in sums (UZS) at the exchange rate of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan on the day of payment. The method of payment will be bank transfer to the following bank account, upon request, the document can be sent by e-mail.

7. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 16.00 (Tashkent time) November 7, 2019. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below 16.05 November 7, 2019 in the conference hall of the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services (4th floor) at the address: Republic of Uzbekistan, Tashkent, 100035, 1, Nijezbek Yuli Str.

8. All bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security” in the form of bank guarantee in the amount of:

For Lot 1: USD 22 000 or UZS 205 000 000 or equivalent in any freely convertible currency;

For Lot 2: USD 14 000 or UZS 130 000 000 or equivalent in any currency freely convertible  currency;

For Lot 3: USD 2 000 or UZS 18 000 000 or equivalent in any currency freely convertible  currency;

For Lot 4: USD 2 200 or UZS 20 000 000 or equivalent in any currency freely convertible  currency;, the original of which must be delivered to the office of the PCU.
