Baku, Azerbaijan – 17 June 2026 - Pursuant to a presidential decree issued by H.E. Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, H.E. Dr. Muhammad Al Jasser, Chairman of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group, has been awarded the nation’s highly esteemed ‘Dostlug’ (Friendship) Order.

The prestigious accolade was announced on the second day of the 2026 IsDB Group Annual Meetings, currently underway in Baku. The Order was conferred upon H.E. Dr. Al Jasser in recognition of his outstanding contributions to strengthening the strategic partnership between the IsDB Group and the Republic of Azerbaijan.

President Aliyev’s decree specifically acknowledges Dr. Al Jasser’s instrumental role in deepening institutional collaboration and championing initiatives that support Azerbaijan’s long-term socio-economic progress.
