F.S. of R&D Vaccine Facility in Malaysia - Program under the Self-Reliance in Vaccine Production in the Islamic Countries

Brief Summary
The T.A. is to carry out a feasibility study to transfer the know_how technology of vaccine Research and Development (R&D) to Malaysia. The outcome of this F.S. will be the basis for the entire Vaccine Self_ Reliance Program in Malaysia under the Ministry of Health. The project includes the engagement of consultants to assist in the F.S. for laying the groundwork of a Vaccine R&D Institute in the Ministry of Health of Malaysia, procurement of laboratory and office equipment, training, technology transfer, and facts finding missions to some countries (e.g. Thailand, Philippines, India, Iran, Indonesia and China). The WHO will be involved in this project through its expertise in this field.
