Mothers First: Ending Obstetric Fistula in Bangladesh

Brief Summary
The objective of this project is to decrease the incidence and prevalence of obstetric fistula (OF) in the remote villages of Cox’s Bazaar in Bangladesh by improving women’s access to maternal health and comprehensive obstetric fistula services. This will be done by i) establishing private self-sustaining general maternal health facilities and ii) integrating psychological, social and economic components within the existing OF program within the project location area.
