Country Engagement Evaluation in the Arab Republic of Egypt

The Independent Evaluation Department has started the process of undertaking the Country Engagement Evaluation in the Arab Republic of Egypt in order: (i) to assess the outcomes of the IsDB programs and projects in the country, (ii) to show evidence of sustainable impact, effectiveness and value for money, and (iii) to capture learnings and draw recommendations to improve future similar operations. The Country Engagement Evaluation in the Arab Republic of Egypt is aimed at supporting the Bank’s future strategic orientation and operational approach to the country engagement by identifying emerging trends in the country, assessing how the Bank has responded to these trends, taking stock of the results of the Bank’s assistance (relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, and sustainability) and drawing lessons for future work, especially for designing the future MCPS for the Arab Republic of Egypt. the Independent Evaluation Department launched the Egypt Country Engagement Evaluation Exercise on Thursday, 21 September 2023, at 11:00 AM
